London Technology Week 2017: Our guide to the best events of London Technology Week 2017

All you need to know about London Technology Week, running this week from 12 June until 16 June 2017.


London Technology Week is upon us! This week, London will host a five-day festival of events across the city aimed at celebrating its role as a leading global technology hub. It is set to take place at various venues around the UK capital from 12 until 16 June 2017.
London Tech Week launched in 2014, but last year saw 40,520 attendees from 74 countries attend 203 events held at 207 different venues, according to London & Partners, the official promotional company responsible for the festival.

This year there are hundreds of events to choose from over the five days, so attendees will have to be picky.
Here is a (very) small selection of the best events to attend.

London Technology Week: multi-day events

TechXLR8 - A festival of connected innovation
  • The anchor event of London Tech Week. TechXLR8 incorporates eight events: 5G World, Cloud & DevOps World, Internet of Things World Europe, Connected Cars & Autonomous Vehicles Europe, Apps World Evolution, VR & AR World, AI & Machine Learning World and Project Kairos.

FinDEVr London 2017


  • A conference aimed at developers within the financial sector. FinDEVr London will showcase new and trending technology for the financial services, banking and payments industries – APIs, SDKs, cloud services, platforms, and more.

Lean Startup Summit London 2017
  • A two-day event bringing together startups, incubators, coaches and others to discuss the practical ways UK organisations can adapt and innovate for the long term. There will be a particular focus on techniques like Lean UX, Lean Governance and Lean Scale-Up.

Five-day innovation mini-MBA
